API Services
Documented, versioned APIs designed for the clients that don't exist yet, not just the one you're building today.

An API is a contract, and contracts that change without warning are what break every client depending on them. We design the contract before writing implementation code, version it from the first release, and load-test against your actual expected traffic – not a demo that only ever sees one request at a time.
What's included
- API design
- Resource modelling and contract design up front -- reviewed and signed off before implementation, so integrating teams aren't building against a moving target.
- Implementation
- Built with authentication, rate limiting, and structured error handling from the first endpoint, not added under pressure later.
- Documentation
- Auto-generated, always-current docs from the schema itself, plus a runnable Postman collection for your team and any third parties.
- Load testing
- Tested against realistic traffic patterns before launch, with the results and any tuning documented, not just asserted.
Questions we get asked
REST or GraphQL?
Depends on the client mix -- a single web front end usually favours REST for simplicity; multiple heterogeneous clients often favour GraphQL. We'll recommend one, with the trade-offs explained.
Can you integrate with a third-party API we already depend on?
Yes -- that's a normal part of most engagements. We'll flag the third party's reliability and rate limits as a project risk up front rather than discovering it mid-build.

Tell us the shape of the problem -- we'll come back with a scoped proposal, not a generic pitch.
